October is a busy month for us. Not only does our teenager turn 15 but our toddler turns 2 on the exact same day (I know, born on the same day 13 years apart. The teen was not impressed). I’ve been busy buying birthday gifts for both kids and while I’ve found buying for a toddler pretty easy, buying for a teenager is a bit of a nightmare. So, I’ve compiled a list of Gift Ideas for Teenagers.
Normally, we would buy a main present which is usually the most expensive and then we buy smaller, cheaper gifts to give them a few little extra bits to open. It’s these smaller gifts i struggle with.
My teen decided to add to the pressure when I asked what she wanted for her birthday, she responded with “I can’t really think of anything”. Typical!
Being 15, she’s now at that funny age were the early teen gifts like Unicorn Poo Bath Bombs (yes, that’s a thing) and 3D Ravensburger puzzles, which I end up doing myself, are classed as being a bit childish now.
So, I’ve been scratching my head at what to buy her and with very little input by way of gift ideas from her, I’ve finally finished my shopping. I don’t think I’ve done too bad. I suppose we’ll see on the day.

For anyone else struggling to buy for a teen turning 15 here’s a list of Birthday gift ideas for teenagers.
Gift Ideas for Teenagers:
Revolution Ultra Brow Pallet
Drawing on/over eyebrows seems to be the rage at the moment. My teen loves an eyebrow pallet, especially this one from Revolution.
Revolution Ultra 32 Flawless Matte Eye Shadow Pallet
In-keeping with the Revolution theme is this 32 flawless matte eye shadow pallet. This was one idea she did manage to provide.
Pandora Band of Hearts Ring
I’m a fan of Pandora and so is my teen. This year she will be opening a nice shiny new Pandora Band of Hearts Ring on her birthday. This particular ring is the same price on Amazon as it is on the Pandora website but I suppose if you have Prime, you’d have the benefit of next day & free delivery.
Disney Couture White Gold Crystal Micky Mouse Head Stud Earrings
My teen loves stud earrings. To add to her collection, I’ve bought these Disney Micky Mouse head studs.
Silver Ankle Bracelet
Being a redhead and like myself, my teen doesn’t suit gold or rose gold. This Sterling Silver Ankle Bracelet should make a nice birthday gift.
Vans Ward Suede/Canvas low top Shoes
Vans are all the rage with teens and my teen is no different. She’ll appreciate this new pair of Vans for her birthday.
Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
One of my teen’s favourite things to do is listen to music through her phone. Check out these lovely looking Bluetooth Headphones.
This Cinema Lightbox is the perfect accessory for any teens bedroom.
This mini backpack is perfect for your teen to carry their phone, money and bits of makeup in.
DKNY Be Delicious Perfume
If your teen is into perfume, this one from DKNY is in an Apple Shaped bottle and smells lovely.
She might be too old for unicorn poo but I know she isn’t too old for this unicorn best top. I’m not even too old for this.
To me, scrunchies are one of those things that should be left in the ’80s. But like crop tops, they are back to haunt us with our teens. Apparently, scrunchies are popular again (no idea why). So if your teen in a scrunchie queen, you can buy 40 for £9.99.
I remember Tangle Teezer hairbrushes were out when I was a teen. Seems like they never really went away. Amazon do these in different colours.
Burt’s Bees Lip balm 4 Piece Gift Set
Cold weather at this time of year plays havoc without lips. This lovely little Burts Bees gift set would make the perfect gift your teen.
Instax Mini 9 Camera
Polaroid Cameras are not what they used to be. Slightly more expensive than the other items on this list but what teen doesn’t want an instant print camera. It even has a little mirror on the front for the perfect selfie.
If not for a birthday maybe this list will come in handy with Christmas being around the corner.
Do you have a teen that you struggle to buy for?
