Pet Portrait from Created by Magic – Review & Giveaway!

Like many other homes, here in the One Clueless Mum household our pets are an important part of the family. We have Lenny, our rather weird mixed breed dog and Smudge, the cat who loves his food and bullies the dog.

How Lenny became part of the family

Lenny was rescued, but not from a rescue centre. He was found being dragged around our local village shops by someone trying to sell him to anyone offering cash. We can only assume the guy was looking for money to feed his bad habits. We could be wrong – but it’s unlikely.

At the time, we think Lenny was around 6 to 8 weeks old and it was a friend of ours who happened to come across the poor little guy. Worried about what his fate might be if not sold to a good home, she gave the dodgy guy some cash in exchange for the pup.

Pet PortraitNot really being in a position to take the puppy on, our friends intention was to take him home and find him a loving family. However, she decided to pop to our house on her way home and here the little guy stayed. That was 5 years ago, he’s also not such a little guy anymore! In those 5 years he has become such a huge part of our family. One we would all be devastated to be without.

Created By Magic Pet Portrait

So, when I came across Created by Magic who were looking for pet loving bloggers to review their Pet Portraits, I jumped at the chance.

*Disclosure – I received this product for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.Β

Created by Magic are based in Hampshire and specialise in creating beautiful digitally illustrated water colour prints and wedding stationary. All I had to do was send them a high resolution image of Lenny and Created by Magic did the rest. Laura, the founder & creator of Created by Magic is extremely friendly and lovely to deal with.

Here is the image i sent…

And the stunning print i received from Created by Magic.

The pet portrait was printed on high quality 350gsm felt marked, Tintoretto Gesso Italian art paper and the quality really shows. The picture I have taken of the print really does not do it justice. It’s an absolutely stunning print and a perfect representation of Lenny. I love, that the background has not been included and the print focuses solely on it’s subject.

For anyone looking for stunning prints, I would highly recommend Created By Magic.

Lenny is such an important part of the family. Especially to our 2 year old, who hasn’t known life without him. I’m so pleased and grateful to Laura for gifting us a life long stunning print of our beloved family dog. It’s nice to know, that although Lenny won’t be around forever, we have this beautiful print to remember him by.

You don’t have to take my word for it…

You may not find structured advice from a 'Stepford housewife' style mum, but you will get honesty & realism from a regular mum just like you. From IVF, women's health & being a redhead, to pregnancy, toddlerhood & life as a work-from-home mum, I've got it all. So stay and take a look around, you never know what you might find.

Oh, that is a dilemma. We also have a cat but the dog won out on this one 🀭
We’re planning on ordering another of the cat.
